Personally have been a fan of Paranormal Romance with Vampires as the main female/male characters since my teens. I remember fondly watching movies, reading books and in recent years following The Vampire Diaries on television (Ian Somerhalder in particular) and thinking that nothing beat a sexy vampire as the leading man or woman. Even the updated version of Fright Night in 2011 proved that actor Colin Farrell was just as sexy playing Jerry Dandridge as actor Christopher Sarandon was in the original movie released in 1985. A few of my all time favorite vampire characters though are James Marsters as bad boy "Spike" from Buffy The Vampire Slayer television series, George Hamilton as the very "tanned" and "tongue in cheek sexy" Dracula in the movie Love At First Bite , Kiefer Sutherland and Jason Patric in the movie The Lost Boys in 1987. Of course these older roles are eclipsed by some of my other favorite vampire characters played by Brad Pitt when he played "Louis" in author Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire in 1994, Salma Hayek playing female vamp "Santanico Pandemonium in movie Dusk Till Dawn, Angie Everheart playing "Lilith" in Bordello Of Blood and probably the sexiest favorite vampire character for viewing enjoyment of all time was played by actor Gerard Butler in Dracula 2000.
All of these characters have one thing in common for me, their charisma which appeals to both women and men alike and makes them very easy to watch on both the big screen and small one of TV!

I love vampires in romance because they are just that.. romantic. :) I like their lusty, brooding behavior and there need to possess. Yep, now I need to go read a vampire book, I think. Nice post. :)

Now this is a Blog Hop I can really sink my teeth into! I LOVE Vampire’s and when you mix them in with Romance Novels the result is intoxicating! Who doesn’t love Vampires! They are usually handsome, sometimes dark and brooding, have sexy names like Sebastian - Damien - Alexander, and they have been alone so long and searching for their Bride, so they can have that one perfect woman to love! Some of my absolute favorite Vampires are :
Lothaire Daciano from the book Lothaire. Lothaire is sexy, wicked, confidant, and has been waiting for his Bride for Eons.
Ian MacPhie from the book All I Want For Christmas Is A Vampire. Ian is a Highland warrior and a Vampire. Sexy with an accent and a kilt.
Sebastien Newcombe from the book Phantom Shadows. Bastien is a misunderstood and sexy badass. He just loves to push everyone’s buttons.
Javier from the book Covet. Javier desires her above all others.

Besides a vampire's innate sensuality, I love that the mystery and slightly dangerous vibe they give off. Also, I like them because they've lived through history, and just think of the stories they'd have to tell. (I'm a history geek through and through.)
As far as favorites, I love Mircea and Louis-Cesare in Karen Chance's series, and Gareth in the Vampire Empire trilogy, among many others. In movies and TV, I loved Henry from Blood Ties, Mick from Moonlight, Eric from True Blood, and Dracula from the 1991 version (as played by Gary Oldman).

Ive always loved them. Ever since I was little. I used to watch the movie Lost Boys over and over. I think its because their the ultimate bad boys. I dont really have one fav. There are just to many good ones to choose from. Spike from Buffy, Eric from True Blood, Z and V from JR Wards BDB just to name a few. :)

I enjoy vampires for the mystery and generally the longevity. For me it is fascinating the history they have lived through and possibly made. There is always an element of danger and usually some action with a little steamy - this draws me like the fly to the light :) Thank you for your generous participation in this fun hop.

I love vampires because they are the bad boys of romance. Dark, brooding and sexy. They toe the line between good and bad and I love watching them struggle with that inner demon. Show me some fangs and a sexy vamp who would try to be good for me and I'm sold :) My fav. bad boy vamp is Wraith from Larissa Ione's Demonica series
