First and last Book Read in 2012.

First book was for review "The Future Perfect" by Kirk Mustard read 1/1/2012 to 1/4/2012 and this science fiction fantasy tongue in cheek read was not exactly what I expected by the end but it was an okay satirical look at just how gullible humans can be.

Last book that I read was a novella of less than 100 pages that I got as a Kindle free read right before New Years that is set in author Kathleen Brooks Bluegrass series of which I have the first book Bluegrass State of Mind also on my Kindle as a free read.
This Christmas novella, Secret Santa, introduced me to all the main characters in the full length books and whetted my appetite to continue reading their stories as it was full of humor, romance and family drama that kept me entertained until it ended. Of course not having read anything else in the series meant it was also at times confusing trying to keep everyone's relationship to each other straight and the mentions of past events went right over my head but I enjoyed this quickie read nevertheless!

hmmmm - I like how you listed the first and last read of 2012. I've seen some posts with quite a few novels listed, reviews, etc. lots of work to summarize the year - key word there, is work. I don't want to have to work at the blog - it's for fun. ;)

Maybe I'll lift your idea....

The Future Perfect looks interesting. :)

Hobby first, once this becomes serious work for no compensation other than the love of reading books and sharing them than this blog is no longer fun!

Lift away, fine by me.
