If you would like me to go back to Pop-Up-Comments let me know but if I do will no longer have reply ability to each individual comment in order it was stated without the embedded comments being enabled. (Personally I hate embedded comments as it redirects the page but it seems to go right back to where the comment and reply stop.)

AS OF FEBRUARY 3rd, 2012 WILL NO LONGER BE POSTING SUNDAY, MONDAY OR FRIDAYS UNLESS FOR A BLOG TOUR, GIVEAWAY HOP OR AUTHOR GUEST POST THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO MONITOR COMMENTS FOR.

As of January 2012 will not be taking any more new book review requests until later in May of 2012. My on again off again Kindle access is becoming a problem with reading my ebooks by the date I have them contracted for finishing and setting up the review posts.

Thank you for considering me but will be happy to do author/book promo posts with openings starting in February of 2012. I will be happy to help anyone who writes in the genres that I enjoy reading and those include Historical or Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Mystery Suspense Thrillers or Young Adult and any combination of these genres in one book.

Also looking ahead to my blogoversary celebration in April which will be a month of weekly giveaway posts that will all be international entry allowed. So stick around!

Horngate Witches Bk #2
Releasing in MMPB December 28th 2010 by Pocket Publishing
THERE ARE GOOD GUYS. THERE ARE BAD GUYS. AND THEN THERE’S MAX.
Max knows what trusting the wrong person can cost you. Her former friend Giselle, a powerful witch, enslaved Max years ago, turning her into a Shadowblade—a deadly warrior compelled to fight for Giselle. But there’s more at stake now than Max’s thirst for revenge. The Guardians, overseers of the magical world, have declared war on humanity and on any witches not standing with them. Max and Giselle have come to an uneasy truce in order to protect what’s left of Horngate, their coven’s home. Max would do anything for Horngate—even give herself over to a mysterious otherworldly creature in the nearby mountains in exchange for his help. But first, she intends to save the mortal family she left behind. And Alexander, the Shadowblade warrior who could be her closest ally or her deadliest enemy, is going with her.
On a road trip into the unknown, Max and Alexander face wild magic, desperate enemies, and battles that bruise both body and soul. But the greatest challenge will come from unexpected revelations that test everything Max believes about who she is—and where her loyalties lie. . . .
This one is the sequel to first book which was released in October 2009....

Insatiable {My Thoughts}

info from goodreads.com
Insatiable
Insatiable #1
By Meg Cabot
Hardback Copy  451 pages
Published June 8th 2010 by William Morrow
ISBN 006173506X (ISBN 13: 9780061735066)
Source: Personal copy won from Charlie at Smart Girls SciFi Blog
Sick of vampires? So is Meena Harper.
But her boss is making her write about them anyway, even though Meena doesn’t believe in them.
Not that Meena isn’t familiar with the supernatural. See, Meena Harper knows how you’re going to die (not that you’re going to believe her; no one ever does).
But not even Meena’s precognition can prepare her for what happens when she meets—then makes the mistake of falling in love with—Lucien Antonescu, a modern-day prince with a bit of a dark side . . . a dark side a lot of people, like an ancient society of vampire-hunters, would prefer to see him dead for.
The problem is, he already is dead. Maybe that’s why he’s the first guy Meena’s ever met that she could see herself having a future with. See, while Meena’s always been able to see everyone else’s future, she’s never been able look into her own.
And while Lucien seems like everything Meena has ever dreamed of in a boyfriend, he might turn out to be more like a nightmare.
Now might be a good time for Meena to start learning to predict her own future . . .
If she even has one.

First I have to thank CHARLIE for having the giveaway on her blog that allowed me to get my hands on a copy of this book to read... If you get a chance head over to her BLOG and check it out....
Who would have thought a book about Meena Harper the soap opera writer who is also a precog would have grabbed me so fast and so thoroughly? I loved this book, it was just so fresh as my taste normally does keep me immersed in the darker Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy genres to the point where this light modern feeling read just flew by page after page as the story unfolded...
Hello Tall Dark and Handsome Prince of Darkness himself, Lucien Antonescu is the truly suave vampire character we have all grown to know and love through so many books prior to this one, however Lucien has a "secret side" that will blow you away when it is revealed in the last chapters!
Nothing about this book screams "Glittery Vampires", this book explores a darker world than that of "Twilight" but at the same time it is a story full of humor and with an "edge"! There is no sugar coating on the fact the villains in this book are evil vampires, they cause quite a few deaths that are horrific in nature but at the same time this book is also a love story that will bring to mind another star-crossed pair named Romeo and Juliet...
I have never read a Meg Cabot book, am planning on remedying that soon and really wish could find some information on what she has planned for the follow up book to this one!
If you have not read "Insatiable" it is a treat for those who like "lighter" vampire fare, and even those like me who are heavier into the darker paranormal books can enjoy it!
