AS OF FEBRUARY 2012 WILL NO LONGER BE POSTING SUNDAY, MONDAY OR FRIDAYS UNLESS FOR A BLOG TOUR, GIVEAWAY HOP OR AUTHOR GUEST POST THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO MONITOR COMMENTS FOR.

As of January 2012 will not be taking any more new book review requests until later in May of 2012. My on again off again Kindle access is becoming a problem with reading my ebooks by the date I have them contracted for finishing and setting up the review posts.

Thank you for considering me but will be happy to do author/book promo posts with openings starting in February of 2012. I will be happy to help anyone who writes in the genres that I enjoy reading and those include Historical or Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Mystery Suspense Thrillers or Young Adult and any combination of these genres in one book.

Also looking ahead to my blogoversary celebration in April which will be a month of weekly giveaway posts that will all be international entry allowed. So stick around!

When a new hellbreed comes calling, playing nice isn't an option. Jill Kismet has no choice but to seek treacherous allies - Perry, the devil she knows, and Melisande Belisa, the cunning Sorrows temptress whose true loyalties are unknown.
Kismet knows Perry and Belisa are likely playing for the same thing--her soul. It's just too bad, because she expects to beat them at their own game. Except their game is vengeance.
Nobody plays vengeance like Kismet. But if the revenge she seeks damns her, her enemies might get her soul after all...
This is the next to last book in Jill Kismet series and in my opinion the grittiest and most emotionally charged of the entire set!
Lilith Saintcrow has been one of my auto buy reads ever since discovering her Dante Valentine series and then when these books came out starting with "Night Shift" then "Hunter's Prayer" then "Redemption Alley" on to "Flesh Circus" , I could not get enough... The heroine is dark, gritty, tough, sexy, snarky, intelligent and has just gotten better and better with each book that has come out!
This time Jill is taxed to the max as not only the Hellbreed Perry tries to sway her by offering up her mentor's killer on a platter, but said killer becomes someone she must work with in order to prevent an even greater threat from making it's way into the world! In the meantime chaos erupts as time and again Jill is outnumbered but never beaten! Her lover Saul has been kidnapped as has her apprentice Gilberto, in a race to save them Jill must make another deal with the devil to keep them both alive!
Non-stop action, non-stop twists and turns to the story that take the reader to the very highest and lowest emotions! I only wish that in reading book #5 had waited until book #6 "Angel Town" was already released because with the "cliff hanger" that the author ended "Heaven's Spite" on my scream of frustration could be heard around the world!

The Bodyguard Anthology {My Thoughts}

info from goodreads.com
The Bodyguard Anthology
MMPB 346 pages
Published June 29th 2010 by St Martin's Paperbacks
ISBN 0312943237 (ISBN 13: 9780312943233)
Source: My Personal Copy
Three masters of paranormal suspense set their sights on the brave bodyguards who put thier lives on teh line--and hearts in jeopardy--for the women they love...
Temptation on Ice by Cherry Adair
When paranormal operative Sebastian Tremayne heads to the Arctic Circle to keep an eye on red-hot physicist Michaela Giese, the polar ice cap isn’t the only thing in danger of melting. This beautiful brainy woman could spark a nuclear disaster he cannot stop—even with magic—and ignite a fiery passion he cannot resist…
Temptation in Shadows by Gena Showalter
Tall, lean, muscular—and definitely rough around the edges—Sean Walker is not your typical nightclub bodyguard. He’s a controller of shadows, able to wield darkness at will. But when a mysterious woman at the club turns out to have powers greater than his own, he has no choice but seduction…
Hunting Temptation by Lorie O'Clare
A manhunter by trade, Seth is on the trail of his most dangerous prey yet: a living, breathing, maneating werewolf. But the last thing he expects to catch in his trap is a beautiful, beguiling woman—with some wild animal urges of her own…

The Bodyguard (Includes: T-FLAC, #16)The Bodyguard by Cherry Adair
Temptation On Ice by Cherry Adair is "hot"! This novella set in the T-Flac series features operative Sebastian Tremayne who is a chameleon able to absorb and channel other supernaturals powers for his own use... Michaela Giese is the beauty who caught his eye 2 years prior as she was engaged to his best friend, a fellow T-Flac agent.....

The story is dynamic and full of intrigue, espionage and very steamy scenes that the author is known for throughout her books... I enjoyed this Paranormal Romance with an edge of brutal danger, fast paced action, classically evil villians and male and female lead characters whose fiery passion for each other add spice on every page!

Temptation In Shadows by Gena Showalter is the second story... The second novella in the anthology on is a Paranormal Romance with both male and female lead characters who are supernaturally talented .. Sean Walker is in no way your "average" male, his ability to harness the power of shadow is not only a very handy talent but also something that has over his life time forced him to choose solitude over friends and companions... Until meeting Gabby! Gabrielle Huit is a young woman with an even more unique ability, one forced upon her as a child, which has caused her to become hunted by people who wish to use this same talent for their gain... Her past has also taught her never to get close to anyone, trust can only get you hurt in the long run... That changes when she encounters Sean! This one is a deadly race to see which faction gets to Gabby first, Sean and his group of covert operatives or the bad guys who want her for their own nefarious purposes... Truth be told this was not the best story have read by the author but enjoyed the unique characters she created nonetheless!

Hunting Temptation by Lorie O'Clare was "okay".. The fact that this novella shifted gears somewhat and featured a young female Werewolf, Jenna Drury as the main heroine was not bad.. The human male, bounty hunter Seth Gere was sexy as all get out and one that would make any woman proud to take him home... My problem was the repetitive use of sniffing in the story line... They would sniff out the scent of lust, or rage, or bewilderment or whatever emotion! Just like others have talked lately about the overuse of someone in a book having a love of all things pink, when an author keeps on and on with one phrase it turns me off what is actually a good story... While I did read the entire story and enjoyed the plot, the sexual content, the characters in the story that overuse of certain words just about drove me over the edge by the end of the book!

All in all The Bodyguard was fast entertainment but is not something that I will reread!
