Kaylee has been through quite a bit in 3 months since she first learned of her heritage and abilities as a Bean Sidhe or Banshee.. The tests she has recently faced are nothing to what she faces now!This is the book in the series so far that was the hardest one to read because of it's subject matter. I have seen first hand the consequences addiction can cause when someone you love puts themselves in jeopardy time and time again for the sake of being "high"! It is a devastating feeling knowing that there is nothing you can really do to help, unless the person is strong enough to stop on their own all the help in the world will not change their course to self destruction.. The fact that this is just a character in a book did not make it any easier as just like every other fan of the series I was devastated for Kaylee when her class mates started dying and she found out just exactly who was the cause of the problem...Unlike a lot of other reviewers I am going to stop there because do not want to spoil the story line for those of us who have still not read this particular book in the series....I will say that Rachel Vincent has taken a chance in exploring the world of teenagers and done it in a way both dead-on true to  the age group and at the same time without judging.. I am now in wait mode until January 2011 when "My Soul To Steal" releases and we see what happens next with Kaylee and friends....MORE ON BOOKS AND ORDER TO READ
