Waiting for a book can be sweet "torture" and now the wait is almost over as we count down until August 24th release in only hours not days!
"Sin Undone" is almost ours!
For those fans out there lucky enough to have already gotten a copy to read either as an ARC or early release off WalMart shelf Yay for you... For the rest of us MAN THE WAIT IS KILLING ME!!!!
Lady Isobel Hume is an expert swordswoman who knows how to choose her battles. When the king asks her to wed a French nobleman to form a political alliance, she agrees. But that's before the devilishly charming Sir Stephen Carleton captures her heart-and tempts her to betray her betrothed, her king, and her country.
IS WORTH THE GREATEST PERIL
Sir Stephen Carleton enjoys his many female admirers-until he dedicates himself to winning the lovely Isobel. When a threat against the king leads Isobel into mortal danger, Stephen must prove that he is more than a knight of pleasure ... and that love can conquer all.
Political intrigue abounds in this book. Along the way we have a tangled tale of romance, adventure and just enough of the history of the time to make it realistic. Torn family loyalties and the heartaches they cause also add drama to Isobel's story. The escapades by Stephen as he does his duty to the King keep the reader guessing as to whether or not this rogue will ever find "his one true love". The characters were richly drawn and it is a nice change again to read the fairly simplistic and flowing writing of the author, no weird Medieval English just straight and to the point contemporary language which makes the romance and plot of the story easy to follow.... Once again it took quite a long while for the HEA between Isobel and Stephen, all good things come to those who wait and let me tell you it was worth the wait!!!
I am now looking forward to the 3rd book which is about the son of Catherine and stepson of William Fitzalan, Stephen's Sister-in-Law and half brother. His nephew Jaime Rayburn was introduced to us a young boy in "Knight Of Desire" and in "Knight Of Passion" we find him all grown up and seeking a wife....
