AS OF FEBRUARY 2012 WILL NO LONGER BE POSTING SUNDAY, MONDAY OR FRIDAYS UNLESS FOR A BLOG TOUR, GIVEAWAY HOP OR AUTHOR GUEST POST THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO MONITOR COMMENTS FOR.

As of January 2012 will not be taking any more new book review requests until later in May of 2012. My on again off again Kindle access is becoming a problem with reading my ebooks by the date I have them contracted for finishing and setting up the review posts.

Thank you for considering me but will be happy to do author/book promo posts with openings starting in February of 2012. I will be happy to help anyone who writes in the genres that I enjoy reading and those include Historical or Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy, Mystery Suspense Thrillers or Young Adult and any combination of these genres in one book.

Also looking ahead to my blogoversary celebration in April which will be a month of weekly giveaway posts that will all be international entry allowed. So stick around!

"The Cowboy From Christmas Past" by Tina Leonard

Don't you have family?" It had been only him. His parents had died young. He'd been raised on cattle drives by sympathetic ranchers who took an interest in him. He'd learned how to shoot, how to hunt, how to be a man. "No, he said, "not everyone
wants one.'

Feel Good Friday Meme (April 30,2010)

This weekly meme is hosted by The Girl Next Door Grows Up.
On Fridays you write about something that is good. Something someone nice did for you, make a list of five good things, or write about something nice you did for someone else. There are five prompts that have been provided by the "Girl Next Door". You should try it, it's kind of fun to write about positive things, even though it's hard to find something positive sometimes.
Today my feel good 5 things are:
1. May is around the corner and my flowers are blooming, my grass is growing greener and birds are singing...
2.  I am looking forward to Mother's Day so can do something special for my Mom so anticipating today early...
3.  Woke up today, that is a good day....
4.  Enjoyed the sight of my pets playing in the back yard, always makes me smile to see them happy...
5.  Today is the last day of April and that means the cold weather is over here in our area until fall time.... Love sunshine and warmer weather...

Another one too good to pass on sharing with all of you to make you smile, From the mouths of Babes!!! :)
From the diary of a Pre-School Teacher:
My five-year-old students are learning to read.
Yesterday one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said,

"Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!"
I took a deep breath, and then asked, "What did you call it?"

"It's a frickin' elephant!  It says so on the picture!"
And so it does...

Dragon Moon Review

Photo, info and blurb from authors web site here .
DRAGON MOON  (ISBN: 978-0425230985, Berkley Sensation, October 2009).
Slave to a fearsome master, Kenna has come to our universe to prepare for an invasion.  When she meets werewolf Talon Marshall, she longs to tell him her terrible secret and enlist his help.  But every time she tries to reveal her mission, a lightning bolt of pain stops her words.  Can she find a way to communicate with Talon before it's too late for our world?
Blurb #2 from Goodreads.com comes from book back cover..
As a werewolf, Talon is no stranger to secrets, and he can sense that the psychic Kenna is keeping something from him. But Talon is powerfully drawn to the mysterious stranger, and the urge to claim her is just as strong as the instinct to keep himself guarded. With impossible secrets keeping them apart and the threat from the other world drawing near, their fate hangs in the balance—unless they can learn to trust each other.

Dragon Moon is the 9th book in the Moon Series by Rebecca York if you go to her listing on Amazon.com or her web page. It is book 11 in the series according to Goodreads.com. Regardless of it's status in the lineup it was the latest book released in October of 2009 chronicling the Marshall Clan of Werewolves and their stories. Dragon Moon is the wonderfully suspenseful story of Talon Marshall and Kenna the female from a universe parallel to ours who was sent to spy for a being so evil and vile that even reading about his cruelty made me feel ill. The story takes the reader through all the wonder Kenna feels at living in a place and time where life is so different in every way to that in the world she came from, a world where an evil being is the lord master and ruler of all he calls his including people who are little more to him than disposable goods!!!
We follow Talon and Kenna's journey to finding out they are life mates and their personal struggles to both accept this and to learn to trust each other fully despite the way in which they were thrust together. In the case of Kenna being forced to come to the world Talon lives in and to not be able to reveal her true mission not only causes her immeasurable guilt but extreme pain when she tries very hard to break free of her evil master Vander and reveal all to the man that she has come to love more than she ever knew was possible. The fact that he is a werewolf amazingly enough is not a problem because in the Universe in which Kenna grew up Werewolves were normal beings right along with Psychically gifted humans...
Talon being a typical Marshall male at first resists heatedly the thought that he has bonded with Kenna, he loses the battle when he discovers her being threatened with death and from that moment on she becomes his top priority to safeguard and care for...In the midst of the journey we are brought together with the rest of the Marshall clan who unite to help Talon and Kenna rid both worlds of the evil Vander. As a side drama the man who tried to kill Kenna and torch Talon's lodge because of his involvement in turning in stolen money the man had buried on Talon's property was also killed and left in the alternate universe where he had followed the group to get his money back.
We are taken for a thrill ride where once again the Marshall men and their Lifemates must all put aside their personal differences and become the cohesive Pack unit we have slowly grown accustomed to seeing throughout the series. I was happy to see the neatly woven tale take us from beginning to end and culminate in the HEA that I have come to expect for each Marshall male and his new Lifemate. I am also excited to find out that later on in 2010 there is a new book coming out which  will be about the pivotal 2ndry character introduced to us named Ramsay Gallagher and the book is to be called "Day Of The Dragon"

Information on "Day Of The Dragon" copied directly  from authors site HERE :
{What am I working on now? At this very moment, I’m writing a new kind of book
for me--featuring a dragon hero.
In Eternal Moon, readers met Ramsey Gallagher, a powerful shape-shifter who helped the Marshalls save our world from Vandar, a monster from an alternate universe.  In DAY OF THE DRAGON, I tell Ramsey's story.  In the battle with Vandar, Ramsey was badly wounded and lost most of his powers.  He's angry and frustrated with the being he's become.  But at the same time, he has the opportunity to work with  archaeologist Madison Dartmoor to discover the secret of his origins. When Ramsey discovers Madison is in danger, he vows to save her from the evil forces determined to destroy her and her work.
DAY OF THE DRAGON will be published by Berkley Sensation in October 2010.}

As I said after reading Eternal Moon I am a long time fan of this series and it is to me my "written soap opera" where I am allowed to follow each characters individual story and also the corresponding stories of all the other characters introduced in past books as well.. I look forward to what ever else Ms. York pens. You can also check out what else she offers readers  More about Author Rebecca York Here .

When her boyfriend dies a most untimely death, Aura--who can see ghosts--is forced to reconsider her relationship with the living and dead in SHADE.

Blurb from  Jeri's Web Site Here
Love ties them together. Death can't tear them apart.

Best. Birthday. Ever. At least, it was supposed to be. With Logan's band playing a critical gig and Aura's plans for an intimate after-party, Aura knows it will be the most memorable night of her boyfriend's life. She never thought it would be his last.
Logan's sudden death leaves Aura devastated. He's gone.
Well, sort of.
Like everyone born after the Shift, Aura can see and hear ghosts. This mysterious ability has always been annoying, and Aura had wanted nothing more than to figure out why the Shift happened so she can undo it. But not with Logan’s violet-hued spirit still hanging around. Because dead Logan is almost as real as ever. Almost.
It doesn't help that Aura’s new friend Zachary is so understanding—and so very alive. His support means more to Aura than she cares to admit.
As Aura's relationships with the dead and the living grow ever complicated, so do her feelings for Logan and Zachary. Each holds a piece of Aura's heart…and clues to the secret of the Shift.

What's Blood Got to Do With It?
Recovering con artist Ciara Griffin seems to finally have it all. A steady job at WVMP, the Lifeblood of Rock 'n' Roll. A loving relationship with the idiosyncratic but eternally hot DJ Shane McAllister. A vampire dog who never needs shots or a pooper-scooper. And after nine years, it looks as if she might actually finish her bachelor's degree!
But fate has other plans for Ciara. First she must fulfill her Faustian bargain with the Control, the paranormal paramilitary agency that does its best to keep vampires in line. Turns out the Control wants her for something other than her (nonexistent) ability to kick undead ass. Her anti-holy blood, perhaps?
Ciara's suspicions are confirmed when she's assigned to a special-ops division known as the Immanence Corps, run by the Control's oldest vampire and filled with humans who claim to have special powers. To a confirmed skeptic like Ciara, it sounds like a freak fest. But when a mysterious, fatal virus spreads through Sherwood—and corpses begin to rise from their graves—Ciara will not only get a crash course in zombie-killing, but will be forced to put her faith, and her life itself, in the hands of magic.

Desire Never Dies
Daisy O'Donnell doesn't get the attraction some women feel for vampires. She likes her men with a heartbeat. And she's just met one who's full of life: Erik Delacourt, the unreasonably sexy man she keeps meeting at a popular L.A. nightclub called the Crypt. She barely knows him, but there's no resisting the connection she feels. . .
There's one important detail Erik hasn't gotten around to telling her yet. He's a powerful vampire out to hunt the Blood Thief who is draining young vampires all over the city--and who has just raised the stakes by destroying one of Erik's friends. To Erik, Daisy is a bright spot of innocence in a world of darkness and menace. He'll do anything--even lie to her--to keep her safe and pure.
If only he knew that Daisy has something of her own to hide. . .

I recently finished reading.

I would like to read next.
