Just Mindless Musings

The Christmas 4 day weekend is over and behind us and we survived another year...
I am sitting in a house that is fairly chilly with my Housecoat on over my other clothes to save on the electric heating bill. Used to not care but the closer winter weather really gets here in Central Texas and the colder the wind chill have to try to stay a little warmer as my old bones get arthritis these days...
4 day work week for my sweetie and New Years Day cannot get here soon enough so he is off for the 3 day weekend...
Too much food and too much sleeping for our Christmas and now today Monday was hard to go back to normal routine of staying up all day and doing chores. Tomorrow weather is supposed to hit with cold sleet and rain and even freezing temps part of the day, joy our version of winter is here in Texas....
Loved the last 2 days the sun shone and it was lovely, the wind chill however was not. I would never make it up in the northern states, too cold and too much snow!!!

Anyway hope everyone out there in blog-land had a good safe family fun holiday and hope the same for your New Year...
